Tools make all the difference!

They say we are “only as good as our tools,” which can really make such a difference in stretching!

In the studio with us, we like to use tools such as a single or double green ball to add an extra boost into releasing muscles and aching pains. We like to use the single green ball to roll out specific areas, whereas a foam roller would be a broad section of muscle.

One of our favorite ways to use the green ball is to roll out the bottom of the foot! Our feet have a lot of pressure when walking and holding up our bodies, so let’s take care of them! Standing with the ball under your foot and rolling out the arches both feels great and relieves a lot of pressure.

The double ball is great for rolling out larger areas of the body, such as the quads. It’s also great for rolling out the spine. We recommend leaning against the wall with the double ball on your spine, and rolling up and down in a squatting motion. You can control the pressure by leaning into the wall more or less.

We also use the HyperVolt in our studio, which is a type of percussion massage gun. It’s great for bringing blood and nutrients to your muscles, as well as bring some relief in loosening tight areas. HyperIce is the brand that the professionals use, and is the official recovery technology of the NFL and UFC! You can find the exact same tools in our studio and experience them in your session.
